INSTRUCTION FOR WASHING FLANNELS

Never wash more than one woollen article at a time, and never rub soap on the garment.

They should be carefully washed in suds of plain soap without any soda, or similar chemical preparation whatever.

The temperature of the water should be no higher than the hand can bear, and the garment should afterwards be rinsed in tepid water, and immediately wrung out and dried.
